Precise Cut introduces Curved Chunking Shears! That’s right, a true left handed curved grooming shear with teeth. There are two models available: curved blade with a curved handle and curved blade with a straight handle. Though both models have convex edges, they also have micro-serrated teeth which prevent hair from pushing. There are heavier serrations on the last several teeth to ensure a Precise Cut all the way to the tips without the groomer adding any pressure. This design is important since pushing or pulling with the thumb will cause the teeth to pull apart or catch; therefore, the groomer must open and close the blades with straight up and down motion. These left handed curved grooming chunking shears are 7½ inches long with 21 teeth and have a unique pivot and tension assembly that ensures a more stable shear. Since these curved chunkers are a one-of-a-kind grooming shear and require two methods of sharpening, it is important to be careful in who you allow to sharpen these shears. Though Precise Cut Shears warrantees these curved chunking shears for the life of the shear against manufacturing defects, they cannot warrantee an improper sharpening job. These shears are also available as a true left handed straight chunking shear.
