Refund policy

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on closeout/clearance items or gift cards. 

 

Restocking fee and shipping fees
A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all returns of shears, clippers and clipper blades. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the consumer and will not be refunded.

 

Store credit or refund
In most cases, we will issue store credit rather than a refund for a returned item. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned item, and let you know if the store credit (or refund) was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be issued store credit (or refunded on your original payment method) within 10 business days. Please allow 3-5 business days for your bank or credit card company to process the transaction. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at contact@willsharpen.com.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

For returns of orders that qualified for our FREE Offer
If the item you are returning qualified your order for our free offer and you selected a free item rather than free shipping, the free item must be returned, unused and unopened, along with the item(s) you are returning.  If you used or opened the packaging of the free item, please keep the item; the currently listed purchase price of your free item will be deducted from your store credit (or refund) amount.

 

Specific policy for scissors and shears
All scissors and shears (excluding clearance/closeout) offered on this website come with a 15-day exchange or store credit guarantee (shipping fees are nonrefundable). Some may require a Return Authorization Number or specific shipping instructions, so please be sure to contact us before attempting your return. We want your transaction to be a smooth and pleasant one. As stated above, your scissor or shear that is being returned MUST be in resalable condition, and its original packaging and the receipt (or copy of receipt) must be included with the shipment. 
All scissors and shears on this website come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. This does not cover damage due to misuse, abuse (intentional or accidental), normal wear and tear, or improper maintenance of your tool. Please be sure to keep your receipt for proof of purchase should you need to access the benefits of any warranty.

Specific policy for clipper blades
Clipper and clipper blades being returned MUST be in resalable condition, and its original packaging and receipt (or copy of receipt) must be included with the shipment. Returns must be shipped back to us within 15 days of receiving your order.
Clipper blades purchased from Will Sharpen, Inc. are guaranteed to be sharp. If a clipper blade does not cut properly upon opening it, we will sharpen it free of charge. Please retain receipt to verify date and place of purchase and contact us prior to sending your blade for sharpening.
